If you have a router or other network device like a switch or a hub, just plug your PC and Xbox in and they will find each other.

If you want to connect PC and Xbox directly you will need a "crossover" Ethernet cable, as a normal cable will not work.

The rest of the setup process is pretty self explanatory and the Xbox will guide you step by step.

Via the ethernet port on both the 360 and your pc. It should be an "auto recognise" process.
