This morning when I got up from my bed, there was this weird, giving out feeling in my left leg. It has never happened before. It doesn't hurt but it feels like its kind of sharp, and my whole leg goes weak for half a second. Also, this slight sharp pain seems to be comming from my inner leg, maybe even my bone.

If this helps, I'm very active.
5'3''
130 lbs.
play soccer a min. of 2 hours a week.

I didnt do anything out of the ordinary the day before this occured.

Please help?

I would get it checked, most likely a pinched nerve call the sciatica that goes down the left or right leg. Causes can be a herniated disc, or just a bruise. If your lower back doesn't hurt, most likely you twisted something in your sleep and it will go away in a day or so. But I would get it checked.

If this persists, i'd seek medical help. You have to be concerned about sudden weakness, as there may be a neurological problem.

If you have sudden loss of bowel and/or bladder control, this is an emergency - go to ER at once, as there could be compression of nerves in the sacral area. (Don't panic - it probably won't happen to you.)

Pay attention to how it is feeling over the next few days, so you can give an accurate desription of the problem to your doctor.

Good luck!

If this were me, I'd have an x-ray of my lower spine, or better, and MRI. It sounds like it could be a herniated disc which can result in the pain you have described, and the weakness as well.
