I am doing a paper on that, and I need to state facts on why you shouldn't own a bear. I need it by the time school starts, today. That's in about an hour...

I know anyone in the right mind would not own a BEAR!
That's crazy, it's just...al I could draw.

Ok, I'm not stupid.
I know all the common sense on why you should not own a bear. Thanks for nothing most of you.
I seriously did no want to do this on a bear.
It's hard to put in the appropriate words for my teacher.
I have no idea how to strech this presentation to the time she wants it.
I have nothing to talk about.
Everything I am getting,I've already got.
COMMON SENSE OKAY!
I need factual things that most would not thing of a bear.
Not nice things about how oh well they can be really calm and whatnot.
That'd be off topic.
I need something more...
TADOW!
Apparently, you guys know nothing.

the answer is quite obvious. you can look at it in 2 different ways

1. The sympathetic view on the Bear's side. Wild animal kept in captivity would lose it's wild touch losing it's ability to survive in the wild if perhaps the owner decides that having a bear as a pet is too huge a responsibility etc.

2. The incredibly arduous task of taking care of bear - the amount of food and cleaning up after it is well, crazy. Moreover taming the bear might not be a very easy process, and is in fact quite a dangerous task if not for the owner, for his guests or family members.

Hope you found it useful

FACT: How many people (in their right mind) want a 10 foot, 700 pound beast that could rip them to shreads, lying on the couch next to them at home? The power in those claws are intense.. Really.. come on..And kid, if you need people to tell you WHY you shouldn't have a bear as a pet, Your going NOWHERE inlife. You must be in kindergarten, how easy of a question is that. Sorry if i offend you, but you gotta start studying.

Bears and wild you can't have them as a pet. It's like having a Tiger as a pet. It will kill you and your furniture will be ruined. Bears can't do things on command like dogs or cats can. If you try to pet it or sleep with it, the bear will kill you. think about it before you ask your question.

i live in ohio and in smithfield there is a man who owns a black bear named dewy. That is because he likes drinking mountian dew out of the bottle. he is a really nice bear. they keep him in a cage outside of there house. i believe he has him front canine teeth removed. which is kinda mean.. but they take him to places and sometimes to the bar to wrestle with people. one time i was petting hima nd he tried to swallow my arm, it wasnt very nice of him but it didnt hurt. well there now you know you can own a bear

Common sense will tell you that a bear is a wild animal, who can do serious damage to you and your house whenerver it decides to.

Uh do you really have to ask this question? People shouldn't own or have non-domesticated animals......because it is too risky. Non-domesticated means wild...they need to live in the wild.

Bears are wild creatures, they smell, they eat alot, they are vicious, it would be unhappy, the RSPCA won't like it, who would look after it when you were away?
