Could someone please tell me how you work this ipod i think i
erased my music by accident and the other computer has my
stepsons music on it so can,t get music on my ipod help?

When I first got my iPod about 12 months ago I had a Windows ME and a dialogue box came up when I tried to load the software that I needed Windows XP or 2000 so I had to buy a new computer (really) and now I have 2 computers. The newer computer has iTunes on it and this is where all the songs are updated onto my iPod. Hope this info helps you. If not perhaps you could supply more info. Good Luck.

You need to install iTunes. You can either download it from www.ipod.com, or you can install it with the disk that was provided with the iPod.
To put music on your iPod, all you need to do is click and drag the songs that you want from iTunes to iPod. If you have the iPod synced with the computer, iTunes will automatically retrieve the songs from the computer to the iPod.

When you open the itunes ask it to look for your ipod information(it should still be on the hard drive unless you erase it) and then have it do an update. It should work.

The best way to how to use you ipod, is to read the hand book.
You download the software that was given with the ipod.
You follow the directions that are given.
You connect the usb cable that come with the ipod to your PC.
And they will give you the instructions.

yuo should first install the itunes..and then just connect your ipod to your comp(by using a usb for ipod nano's and etc..except shuffle)..then just download your song in limewire and it'll appear in your itunes..when you connect your ipod to the comp you have to pick a name of your ipod then just drag the songs there..it's easy
