I understand that you have high BP but want to conceive now.
1.High BP is not good for you or your baby.So it has to be controlled any way.
2.Because you are saying that you got kidney infection doctors will give you antibiotics to control infection.
3. If it is another type of nephritis where no obvious infection is seen but kidney cells get damaged then the condition needs close monitoring and control of bp.
4. After proper evaluation of kidney profile and control of BP you can go for conception.
Even after conception you need to be monitored regularly till you give birth to a baby.
At this moment you need to consult a good experienced physician and control the BP.
Inform him that you are anxious to conceive so that he can prescribe medicines which do not hamper conception.
Then consult a good obstetrician.
Do not worry. Because anxiety is not good for either the control of BP or for conception. Have faith.
Good luck.

If you are already pregnant, high BP can be a problem, and will need to be monitored closely by a doctor. If you have a kidney infection, you should be on antibiotics.

Are you currently struggeling with high blood pressure problems and want to have a baby? This is something you should address with your doctor befoe you start TTC. I have a conditional heart defect that causes me to be on a beta blocker (blood pressure medication) and it is still very safe for me to have a baby. My Dr has cleared me and I have been on my medication for years without issue. If you do have uncontrolled high blood pressure it can cause many problems for your baby and pregnancy so I would suggest seeing a Dr before baby planning. Good Luck it can be done!!
