Yes,Because india have world's bigest market for industrial, Commercial, IT sector, Consulting, Banking, Infrastructure, and many other fields. More & More companies are waiting for a chance to invest in country like india. I think till 2020 india will be super power in world. currently india is fastest moving economy in asia.

Yes Definitely but before that India needs to do something about its increasing population
they need to take care about the farmers who are committing suicide everyday
India needs to provide schools, hospitals, electricity to its villages
India needs to create jobs for underprivileged low class people who make less then $ 1 a day
India needs come up with a solution of public school system so that poor families can send their kids to school
India needs to fight corruption and bureaucracy that prevails in our society
and just cuz 5 metropolitan cities are shining doesn't mean that entire India is booming
we need to upgrade our Infrastructure which is horrible compare to other parts of the world
Lastly once we find solution for all these problem then I don't think there is anything stoping India becoming a superpower

If India can get its economy, and currency on order, then yes.
India is ripe for superpower status, just like China, in 2 decades.
India does have a problem with extreme poverty....they need to deal with that soon.

Just forget abouit this superpower nonsense. All we need is basic infrastructure, clean water and a corruption free system. Is it possible to achieve in another 12 years?. Looking at the situation at the moment, it looks like a looong way to go.
