I always bring up my colony of chinchillas I breed in my basement.
The first male that I bred gave me 72 babies and is still alive and kicking at age of 15.
I've sold many of his offspring, and the colony keeps on going.
While I've introduced new ones to the herd once and awhile, nothing can top the original animals I bought in 1990.
Neverending....and beautiful and healthy animals that make the best of pets.
