As a British citizen I am more than a little fed up with being told what we can and can't do by the 'powers that be' on a daily basis.

I have just answered a question ref Burka's and suddenly thought that maybe a new religion(if you list it, it will come) with a few well chosen, optional 'religious musts' might be in order.

Any suggestions-I think perhaps the wearing of the equivalent of a balaclava in public, funny hats to be sported on Wednesdays, and Friday afternoon through to Monday morning are to be treated as religious holidays at least once a month.....

It's 'I'm allowed'. See?

Like I'm allowed to resist having my mileage monitored because only our god equivalent needs to know where we are or where we've been and he sees all....

On the last census Brighton was only a few thousand votes short to have Jedi declared as a new religion.
Make it a political party. And call it ILMOSLS.(In Loving Memory of Screamin Lord Sutch. You'd get my vote as long as you don't follow in the footsteps of the BNP ;-)

Join us in the Jedi

The training is hard but worth it, the force is a wonderful tool as long as you use it for good.

(Though a funny hat day does sound like fun to me!! and we could have a chocolate only day too, that would be great if all you were allowed to eat all day had to be chocolate, yummy!!)

For a start I think funny hat day should be tuesday. And may I suggest that members of faith are not allowed to shower or bath naked, but actually have to put more clothes on before washing?
