on the start menu click run and type msconfig and press ok..on the top tab click on startup...uncheck the boxes of the programs you dont want to startup with windows.press apply.be carefull what you uncheck.unchecking unfamilliar items can cause problems.on the top tab click on services.check the box that says"hide Windows Services".and uncheck the boxes of the sevices you dont want to start up then press apply.next,on the start menu click run and type this just the way you see it here:%Temp% then press ok.this folder contains mostly alot of garbage.this is the temporary installation directory.it is safe to delete everything from this folder.they are Pass Items.after you do this.restart your computer.

I see you just asked this question minutes ago.. :) have you tried deleting cookies, checking your Temporary Internet Folder(try searching your computer with the word "Temp" and see if you find extra Temporary Folders as well). You can also check for unwanted or unneeded programs with your windows explorer.. you might even find hidden files or folders in there you never new existed... but be careful they might look unimportant.. some may be greatly needed for certain programs.
