I guess if you're naturally good at something you don't need the piece of paper to do your job. However, don't you still need that piece of paper to get into the door.

Pretty much. I guess if you want to get into system you could start working from low position. Show your potential and then grab your dream job. This happened to my sister. She only has associate degree in accounting and when she started working she did not speak any English. In addition she is the youngest employee in the company. Recently she was promoted to the head accountant for three sister companies, only after 8 years of working for them. There are people who worked there all of their lives, and did not even get past clerk.
My sister started as an office support, but she had exceptional abilities, and she climbed the ladder pretty fast!

I just graduated with a college degree, guess what, I cannot find a decent job. So, I have to start working the same way, as if I did not have an education.

So you are right, if you are good in something, it is your destiny to be it.
