No - you could make her lose her job.

If she flirts back, yes, but you put her in a really difficult position, if anything happens -or even if anything doesnt and you got a jelous ex girlfriend/mate, and they think somethings going on it could get her fired, or diciplined by the head teacher- or even sacked or at the worst made that she is banned from teaching or working with anyone under 18 years old (like on a peodofile list)

If you really do like any respect her, you'll realise that no one you admire or want to remain friends with should go through the situation of being banned from thier dream job, made redundant and have difficulties paying thier morgage or salay (so effectively homeless or bankrupt unless they find a new job asap.

If she is only 2-3 years older than you and you really really think it is love, wait till you finish school- then fare game to you, true love will always wait.
But if its a crush and you just want to have a bit of fun- dont do it please! if she really loved her job you'll probably scare her enough to want to leave- for fear of you going ott, or she may get the head teacher to talk to you, or she may simply stop taking your class, rumour you as a trouble maker- which could make life even harder for you, or in my experience, have a mentla breakdown after triggering experiencec of powerlessness and wind up selfharming in a general psychiatric hospital (this happened to a teeacher when I was at school and a girl didnt like the teachers mark for her home work- which she didnt try at anyway, she reported him as "touching her bum" to the head of year, as with all cases the head of year had to ask the teacher about it- weather no nor she believed the girl-and probably not- was another matter. The teacher never took the class again. It was only when I made it to the 6thform at 16 when the teachers respect you and trust you with info, that the story came out about the teacher being admitted to hospital for 3 years after it triggering flashbacks of the powerlessness he flt when a teacher abused him when he was at school years before. The terrible thing was he had been teaching for 15 years, his class was well liked and no one bunked off it- a rareity- and he left just like that.

Please think carefully about your decision.

Aside from the fact that she may well be in a happy relationship with someone else, any flirting (whether from students or even fellow staff) puts her in a difficult position, which would be unlikely to be given a seal of approval by her peers or school governing body. That might not be a deal to you, but it's her career on the line not yours.

Best wishes, J

Any professional teacher will not respond to any flirts. Teachers are expected to remember they have a duty of 'care' and must not take advantage of their situation. That included teachers of sixth form students. Any contact in or out of school is likely to be termed 'misconduct'. The teacher would be asked to look for a job in another school.

Absolutely!
Just because she's a teaching assistant somewhere and you're a uni student doesn't mean the rules of teacher/student trust apply here. You're not under aged and she's not your teacher so go for it!

I don't know. If you hit on her and she gets caught then she could get done for sexual harrassment while in the position of trust.

I'm a Female and if there was a hot male teaching assistant i wouldn't flirt with him.

If you want to get her dismissed, go ahead. For a teacher such situations are very delicate. If she tells you you're a stupid kid, you would probably not take kindly to the remark and if she reciprocates, then she would be in danger of being sanctioned by her employers. Lay off til you're out of school.

Sure, if you don't mind making the newspapers some
day in the future as others have, or if you like being
embroiled in controversy. Ask yourself if it is worth it,
then find some other "hot" non-teaching available gal.

No, asshole. This is why a lot a people don't learn in school. Haven't you seen the movies. You'll have her loose her job and then you won't have any kind of relationship with her at all. Don't be insensitive.

Not while she's on the job. You know sometimes things just don't work out. You gotta know when its just not gonna happen. Go with your feelings though. Try not to get caught ;p
