Catastrophic expectations is one reason. The focus on a problem may someway cause it to happen.
One solution is to always work toward something rather than work away from something else it can become a self-fulfilling prophesy.

We only keep repeating our mistakes if we don't learn from them the first time or no-one shows you how to do it right. Eventually we'll learn and we'll have a few stories to tell, some advice to give.... But until then you make as many mistakes as you'll let yourself. That's what i think. Are you repeating mistakes?

I have always heard that if you keep doing what you have always done then you will keep getting what you always got. You have to try to do things different sometimes. Don't let your mistakes make you afraid to keep doing things. You may not be making any mistakes, maybe the situations were both totally different, but since they ended with bad results you are combining them together under "your mistakes"

I've had problems, some were my own fault, no one else to blame. You are only doomed to repeat those mistakes if you aren't smart enough to learn from those mistakes.
