Rahul Dravid is a good player because he is very reliable.
You can trust him most when the team needs him.
They call him 'The Wall'
When the man gets going, it is very difficult to stop him, or break him!
He has a very cool temperament. He doesn't get carried away and lets his bat do the talking most of the time(Remember India's 1996 tour of South Africa where he humiliated Alan Donald by sending each of his ball towards the boundary line after he taunted Rahul...)

That is why he was also made the Captain of the Indian team.

u can know wt it takes for bcming a cricketer
at the age of 34 being such fit isnt an easy job
u can bcm dependable/the wall only if u play every innining as ur first and if u don perform ur last inn
thats what ganguli didnt do so he had to see the backdoor

rahul dravid is a very gifted batsman (noone in their right mind would disagree.) his selection of shots (particularly when in form) is amongst the best on the world, and time also esquisite at times (alot of them too)

He is a technically correct batsman and he plays responsible cricket .Even though india losts too many wickets ,rahul plays
with cool mind.

coz he is more dedicated n hard working among d players
he never missed an test match till 90+ tests tats d way he maintains his fitness.... in addition to all these he has given some consistent performances to win most of d memorable tests as well as odi's in recent days

he is not a good player but he is an exllent player.it is because his idea of batting is very good.he knows how to bat at what time.
