It's been a while since I've done logs, does anyone know how to solve this step by step?

x=5log8^2 (base 10)
x = 10lg8
therefore, x = *use the calculator after*

log8^2= 2*log8 so x= 2*5*log 8 =10 log 8.Now a scientific calculator gives you log 8 =0.9031 so x= 9.031

Just bang it in your calculator.

first do log 64 (i.e log of 8^2)

then multiply by 5

Your result should be 9.03089987
