Hi it's now been six weeks since my op and I am having terrible trouble with finding a comfortable bra for wearing all the time. I have gone up in back size for comfort but then then this makes my bra rise up with movement, which then sits on my scars. I can only wear non underwire ones at the moment. I don't want to go to Rigby and peller to be fitted as my shape will change constantly. can anyone help with this from a very sore breasted woman

Hi, when i had a breast reduction done many years ago, i found for about six months i could only wear a sports bra, and i found if i was at home i would not wear a bra to help the scars heal as they do get sore. Now i can wear any bra that is not underwired, Asda do nice comfitable ones, and i still can not wear ones with the underwire in them, it will still make my scars sore. I think i had mine done about 17 years ago.

I have found that the bras that are sold on http://www.breasthealthonline.com are very comfortable. All you need to do is order your band size (or one larger to accommodate for swelling).

There are also sports bras at walmart and target that are very comfortable.

Congrats on your reduction!
