(2ax)(3c) / (4b)(2d) + P / Q - x = 1

P / Q = 1 + x - (2ax)(3c) / (4b)(2d)
P / Q = [(4b)(2d)(1+x) - (2ax)(3c)] / (4b)(2d)
P = (4b)(2d)(1+x) - (2ax)(3c)
Q = (4b)(2d)

If this is : 2ax / (4b) + 3c / (2d) - x = 1,
and you want to solve for x,
then first cancel the 2 in the first term, giving :
ax / (2b) + 3c / (2d) - x = 1

Multiply through by (2bd) to eliminate fractions :
adx + 3bc - 2bdx = 2bd

Put x terms on LHS and others on RHS :
adx - 2bdx = 2bd - 3bc

Take out the common factor x on the LHS :
x(ad - 2bd) = 2bd - 3bc

Divide through by (ad - 2bd) :
x = (2bd - 3bc) / (ad - 2bd)

or you can factor this a little :
x = b(2d - 3c) / [d(a - 2b)]

Those who answer shouldn`t really have to guess what the question is before they answer.
Time is precious!
I would be pleased to attempt question if question could be clarified.
