Maybe they are talking sense and you are saying something worth getting stuck into.

Public opinion is a weak tyrant compared with our own private opinion. What a man thinks of himself, that is which determines, or rather indicates, his fate.

Your question lacks definition.
But this site serves two purposes. Those who seek advice; and those who seek opinions.
If you seek opinions, then you will get just that - more often than not from game-pointing sprogs. Hence they will tear you up (where's the dustpan!). But if you quote a reliable source like the BBC, then they know there are no points to be gained, and go to bed.

Maybe because you're asking 'dificult' or 'unpalatable' questions which people would rather not face? It's good that someone out there doesn't toe the party line, and thinks independently - even if people don't like the questions, they need to be asked.

You keep saying what you want to say ,You are entitled to your point-of-view. Criticism good or bad can be educational,so don't take any rudeness to heart and carry on what you wish to say.
