I'm so sick fed up with mine, I'm going to change company (I'm with Orange right now, and their website never works for me either).

Ideally, I just want to speak to a real person when I phone up and not have to go through endless menus.

I'm interested in all the big ones - Orange, O2, Vodaphone, T-mobile etc., plus any others you can think of!

Unlucky - I'm with Orange too and have just changed phones. They were excellent and helped me out changing everything over.

The endless menus (IVRs) however are a pain in the backside.

Funnanly enough i was on the phone to Orange last week regarding my phone and broadband. My broadband was down (suprise suprise) and i called up and got put through to an Indian call centre. I was on the phone for 20 mins trying to give over my phone number to this woman who couldnt understand me. I gave up and just put the phone down. Its happened loads of time before as well.

I have encountered an inadequacy of customer service and plain stupidity of monolithic proportions that I had not previously considered possible.

I spent in total 40 minutes on the phone listening to an infuriating
robot woman telling me that I was in a queuing system. On finally speaking to a ?human? being, I was informed that nothing was wrong with the account and to call back later, which I did.

The intervening days and weeks were spent waiting for a reply during which I alleviated the boredom by playing with my testicles – an activity at which Orange are no doubt both familiar and highly adept.

To conclude i hope its is the last day in the life of there company, and they are a irritatingly incompetent and infuriatingly unhelpful bunch of tw**s. Thats my rant over with! :-)

I'm with O2 (and have been for 7 years) and I can honestly say I've never had any probems with them, they have UK call centres where you can actually talk to a real life person. Their website is also really helpful, you can check your previous bill and also unbilled calls plus lots of other features.

The worst I have experienced is 3 - useless customer service staff and when you ask to speak to a supervisor it gets even worse!

o2 are by far the best, calls are answered quickly and in most cases they sort out any problems in one call, they are a lot better than they used to be and the real bonus is their call centres are in the uk not in india, they are by far the best for cudtomer sevice among the ul networks, orange, and virgin mobile being the worse by a long mile.

On the flip side, I find Orange to be the best of a bad bunch. I wouldnt touch Virgin Mobile with a barge pole.

well i've just renewed my contract with orange but it is worth going through to renewals and talking to someone, i wanted the nokia5300 which they were going to charge me £79.99 for and although i could cancel my contract, take out a new one and get the phone for free this means changing my number which i didn't want to do. After threatening to leave i got the phone for £9.99 and two months free internet access worth £10.00, i'm not 100% happy with this but i got to keep my number and the phone has been delivered and i only ordered it yesterday.

Don't bother with 3, customer services horrendous, always cold calling and when you ring them with a complaint you conveniently get cut off-never again will i go with 3, i was warned, but they entice you in with their offers, all down hill after that, and network coverage terrible too.
