Blend of the two - there is never a fact without fiction

Fiction is usually based on fact, isn't it? Especially if it's twisted.

But if i were to do it, I'll do a mythological or anthropological film which is mainly fact, but would throw in some fiction if I think the film needs a bit extra. Kinda like Apocalypto - Was intended to be based on fact but you can tell they played around with it a bit.

Fiction
I'd write another star trek that takes place after Nemisis and try to fix the almost irreversible damage Berman and Braga did to the franchise by creating Voyager and Enterprise, I'd make it about the USS Titan, Cpt. Riker's Ship.
perhaps make a movie before a series, it worked for stargate

Face it star trek needs a change of producers, it seems like B&B stopped trying after DS9 the only thing that saved the last 3 movies is that Jonathan Frakes was on the directing and production staff

But failure is a possibility Enterprise may have been the final nail in the coffin

. If i were to make a film, it would have to be fact, and i would do my dam-est to get all the facts right,in so many films that are based on fact ,some times the main events are left out to allow other material that is thought to be more "interesting" to the viewer, and are only very loosely based, making them more fiction in the end.

Fact ... Phrase that goes something like: Truth is often stranger than fiction, definately applies.
I think (personal opinion) people are more interested in what can be directly related.

Facts. Then make the facts YOUR OWN FICTION.

Fiction of course..........you could make it however you wanted without worrying about getting all the "facts" right. Anything and everything goes and is possible. If you want pink elephants flying cars in the sky........you can do it.

Where? Oh, you mean were!

Hollywood often takes fact and turns it into fiction.
Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
