Record to CD?

Can anyone tell me how to take music from a record and put it on a CD?

Well there probably is propper ways to do it but if you get stuck you can always do it this way.i have put tapes to cds this way.if you have a recording program on your computer that you can put the recording into mp3 format youre sorted.i have audacity which you can download for free online.what i do is connect a line from the tape player(or in your case record player) to the computer and check the levels for recording and when i get them right i record the songs track by track onto audacity.when i am finished i put them into mp3 format and they are ready to go onto cd.if you are doing it remember to record each song individually so you can have different tracks on your cd.its a very simple way.i am sure someone will give you a propper way to do it but if all else fails it has worked for me putting tapes to cds.best of luck
