ERIN is a beautiful name....my granddaughter is name ERIN ELIZABETH. You cannot shorten or nickname the name Erin so they will always be called Erin....and not bubba or junior. Congratulations on your new child!

I had two names chosen for my daughter. One was Rebecca Kate (a family name) and the other was Erin Rose (a combination of my two closest friends names). I chose Rebecca, but if ever I have another little girl it will be Erin Rose!
I love the name Erin!

I have always loved Erin for a girl and love Aaron for a boy as well.
Erin is just simple and beautiful.
Good Choice.

Honestly I feel it's used too often--I have 4 friends and relatives with the name and my children have 2 classmates all with the Erin spelling--but it really shouldn't matter what we think. Your her mother, when you look at your daughter and you feel Erin is a wonderful name for her then it's perfect!
