if you are talking abt rupees go to Goa from outside then question is where you will get rupees? In Goa every where you will find money exchange facility so you do not need to bring money from outside

Yes you can take INR (Indian Rupees) to any place India including Goa. if you are a foreigner (Non-Indian) you may be asked for the source of the money and you should be prepared to tell with documentary evidences. If no one questions if is fine you can carry on-

it is easy to exchange any currency in goa.
you can also use visa credit cards
need not worry about currency when in goa
