Asker on the yahoo Y/A? I ask as I had gotten two best answers when I got into my e-mail thismorning & it said "Chosen by Asker" just WHO is asker?

Asker is the guy or gal asking the question which you answered. It was his right to choose the best answer but if he or she chose not to then the community can have an opportunity to do so which would then be, community chose the best answer. This sometimes results in some smart assed answer being chosen when in fact there was a much more appropriate answer which was left on the sidelines. Asker liked your best so congratulations you just got 10 points for each answer chosen.

The one you answered in a question. The asker is the one that ask.

Example: If you choose me as best answer now, You are the asker who post the question and give the best answer choice to whoever ..
As for voters It's is different

whoever asked the question you answered... if you click on view question, the picture and name next to the original question is the asker. when it says "chosen by voter" it is whoever voted on the question and picked your answer as best.

whomever posted the question is the asker, as opposed to those questions that people vote on then it would say chosen by voters.
