My right shoulder has been hurting for the past week. I've see my doctor about it before and was given a list of excercises for my rotator cuff. I've since lost the printout, but other than wikipedia is there a good medical site where I can get a list and pictures of the excercises? I'm a beggining body builder so I would like to get my shoulder back to normal as soon as possible.

It all depyends on how your shoulder feels. My mom has similar pain but wasn't able to move her arm or lift anything so she saw the dr and had to have surgery to fix it. I would call the dr for a replacement sheet before i started my own exercises. I advise you not to strain your shoulder to much during this time though because that could lead to worse damage then what you started with. Other good advise would be to call a local therapy center and ask for the occupational therapist, they may be able to give you exercises with weights so that you can get back on your feet in as little time as possible. Please take it slow though.

If you want to be back to normal ASAP, you should really stop using an amateurish approach to the problem and see a professional: have your doctor refer you to physical therapy.

Your PT will look at your shoulder alignment, and teach you a program that will target the correct muscles safely. Shoulders are all about alignment, and you can't get the kind of correct coaching you need from a "printout".

Go to APTA.org, click on "find a PT", and search your home area. You may want to seek out a specialist in orthopedics or sports PT (OCS or SCS after their name).

Good luck!

you'll be able to desire to flow get checked yet I heavily doubt if it your rotator cuff inflicting the project. The bench press would not positioned undue rigidity of the shoulder socket. Sounds greater like perchance a pectoral muscle tear or rigidity. Or if the soreness in especially interior the shoulder you have a shoulder ligament tear or rigidity.
