My birthday is in 3 days!
I don't want to sound picky but I seriously don't need any perfume or picture frames..and certainly not vases because I don't even like them..what about you?

boxes of monogramed hankies. WHY??? I realise this is a xmas gift not birthday, but had to meantion it
they vanish into the bottom drawer.
I have plenty of shower stuff and other smellies too, but relatives will insist on thinking they are nice gifts

I would have to agree. I am also not fond of gift certificates although I will take those over say..socks, T-shirts that are plain, and those stupid pre-packaged make-up kits. I don't wear make-up very often. In addition, my birthday is the day after Christmas so I always get combination gifts. I really DO NOT like that!!! GOOD question!!!

I hate gift certificates to specific stores/restaurants that I don't even like or I don't go to that are pretty far away from where I live!

Socks, cards, and items of "obsessions" i've had a long time ago, like teddy bears, care bears, smileys, etc. i'm not little anymore, i buy my own socks and your cards are all retarded and meaningless anyways. give me something i can use like jewelry, money, or gift cards, unless i ask for something specific!! I totally feel you girl.

Flowers at the moment are bugging me. They are so much work with cutting them and changing the water, etc. When they finally die the water is disgusting!

chotchky junk or fancy clothes, both of which i hate, or you buy one thing (a rooster) for the kitchen because you like it and everyone assumes you collect them so they pick up every hideous chicken they see.
