I thought it was brilliant.
I really enjoyed the way all of the various stories played out and then tied up at the end. It seems to me that if Quentin Tarantino ever decided to make a romance, Love, Actually would be what he came up with, just in terms of the way the plot moved around and some of the other cinematic devices that were used.
It's been awhile since I've seen it, so I don't remember every story in depth, but I do remember thinking that Martin Freeman and Joanna Page brought a lot of sensitivity to a couple of roles that easily could've been ridiculous. (They were the ones playing the body doubles.) I remember being more impressed with Hugh Grant than I expected to be. I remember really enjoying Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman, and Bill Nighy, but then again, I tend to always enjoy them.
Beyond that, I really enjoyed the affirmation of that type of love out there is unique and valid, from romantic bonds to love between family and friends, even the little boy's first taste of romance.
By and large, I thought it was well done. It was funny; it was sweet; it was stylish, and it made me cry. I felt that it really didn't get a fair shake with either critics or the male population at large.

I enjoyed it but it wasn't as good as I hoped (some of the stories seem disjointed). The cast is great and the music is good. Some of the characters really have good chemistry together. It does cheer me up, and it makes me think of Christmas.
My fave moment is when PM Hugh Grant kicks Prez Billy Bob Thornton's butt during the press conference.

Great movie. My wife and I love to watch it together around Christmas time especially. It is just such an assortment of different characters in such different situations that could be relatable to a lot of ppl in so many different ways. I guess mainly it kinda makes me appreciate my loved ones and makes you look at the brighter side of things

I'm a romantic comedy buff so I did enjoy this movie. I liked the chemistry between Huge Grant and Martine McCutcheon, she was so lovely.

I found it to be very interesting. I like how it made me think. The way everyone was somehow connected to one another. If I had to choose one word to describe this movie, I would have to say brilliant.
My favorite characters were Colin Firth and the Portuguese lady. I liked how he spoke in broken Portuguese to her and she spoke in broken English to him. I thought it was sweet.

My wife had seen it and tried to get me to watch it once or twice before I finally relented. Never been a big fan of romantic comedy but this film was really good. Funnier than I thought it would be. Believe it or not, I'd recommend it.

I found it a bit disjointed and not very interesting. I'm a romance freak and this actually I did not love. I put it out of my mind after watching it I was so disappointed. Sorry...Thanks for asking!!!
