hey friends.
i have 80gb + 40 gb + 20 gb hardisks.
80 gb ---> windows xp with sp2 under the security of MCAFEE.
40 gb --> redhat linux.
i am facing a problem that my pc is restarting with a pause of 3 days. it is just showing the intel screen and again getting ready to boot. so it is forcing me to format the system . it is the16th time i have formatted the c drive and 3rd time to full format the whole 80 gb SATA disk. i cant bear the situation any more.
when the next moment after the problem mentioned above, i booted with linux its good.
now i want to know where the problem is . please.
one more problem.
my drives are not opening when i double click them and also if they are opened, they are opening in a new window.
i have set all the options in the TOOLS menu i.e to open the file in same window.
so please help me.

wow, that's the wierdest problem!
try unplugging the extra hard drives to see if that fixes the problem.
Also, run DFT (drive fitness test) free from IBM, or another drive testing program, to see if you have a problem with the drive.
