If anything I would get my nose fixed, I broke it at Christmas (a small fracture) and though people say they don't notice it looks different to me! Plus now and again it moves or something which hurts and I get a headache, so I'm assuming that's not good!
Actually, I must add that after having a bottle smashed in my face when I was younger (nasty bf - LONG story!) a plastic surgeon stitched my face, so my scars are a lot neater and less visible than they would have been had I been stitched in casualty.
Plastic surgery is carried out for many reasons and though I do believe that some people go too far in the quest to be 'perfect', many others have benefited emotionally from minor procedures boosting their confidence and morale. However, where plastic surgeons do their best and most challenging work is helping people who have been maimed/disfigured in some way and giving them their lives back.

I don't think that healthy and/or attractive individuals should have plastic surgery. Todays ideals of beauty are different from yesterday's and from tommorow's. That means that although right now it may be popular to be tall, very slim, tanned, long legged and large-breasted, but in the next decade it may be "in fashion" to be pale, petitte breasted, smaller, and not quite so skinny. But where does this leave the people with years of skin damage due to tanning and sunbeds, breast implants etc etc. These people will have "ruined" their appearance for a passing "fashion", which is no longer seen as attractive. People should question whether or not they are happy with the way they look, based on their own personal views and not on what society thinks is beautiful at the time. For example Maralyn Monroe, although seen as beautiful in her time, would be probably seen to be too chubby by todays standards. People should think carefully about what they really want to do and how they should go about it. For example, is it really necessary to ever have liposuction? I also think that breast implants should be reserved only for those who have a medical reason for it. For example, those who have had a breast removed or those who never developed breasts for some reason-but not those who have slightly small or droopy breasts! Similarly with breast reduction- if an individual is suffering from chronic back pain (a medical reason) then it would be ok for them to consider surgery-but not those who simply dislike having large breasts. People have got to accept that we are not dolls, we are human beings and we are NOT MEANT to be perfect. Every one of us has imperfections because we are living, breathing people. We should just try to be as healthy as possible through diet and exercise and if we are unhappy with some aspect of how we look, so what!! Isn't everyone? We should learn to focus more on other things so that we don't all become totally fixated on the way we look. People need to stop being so shallow and live in the real world again-not in some fake, plastic surgery fantasy land! Be happy and thankful for who you are and how you were made, both inside and out! Don't follw the crowd, be yourself in every way, and be proud of who you are and what you look like, or else we'll all end up looking like clones of eachother! And whats so attractive about that? Our differences are what make us beautiful! Try to work on your insides first and be a better person. Love yourself! xoxox

Plastic surgery is done generally to hide defect (some spot or mole, which may look awkward on hand or face) and also on burn injuries. Some go for plastic surgery to change appearance. I understand this is very costly.

I wouldn't consider it right now because I am quite content with myself. I would only have plastic surgery if if was in accident or something happened to me where I was disfigured then I would do it.

I personally wouldn't, I'm happy as I am. However, I know someone who poured boiling water over herself when she was younger, she had plastic surgury to reconstruct her skin when she was a child, now as she's growing, she needs plastic surgury to cover up the burns because the skin doesn't grow as she does. There are people who need plastic surgery to save their life. lots of people spend thousands of pounds for breast enlargements etc. when there are people worse off. She didn't have plastic surgery to show off, or to please others, or to fit in- it saved her life.

I would, because I'm vain and don't like gravity! Everything starts to sag the older one gets! But I know that it's not something I'll ever be able to afford, so serious consideration of said surgery is out. ;)

Eeugh no! Have you ever watched an operation on TV? They are hardly gentle with you whilst you are under anaesthetic, you look a complete mess when they are finished with you (eg 10 rounds with mike tyson bad) and then there is the issue of weeks of pain and bruising whilst you heal.
I'm too much of a wimp for that. Makes me shudder just thinking about it.

I would consider a face lift to iron out the wrinkles.
