they bring back great memories don't they? as for a favourite, i don't have a particular favourite but ones which stand out for me are true faith by new order (i never get tired of listening to that), ben liebrand's human league's human, tina turner's typical male, george michael and aretha franklin's i knew you were waiting 12" mix, madonna's who's that girl (techno mix), dead or alive's you spin me right round (ultimix) and open your heart (ben liebrand mix), the prince ultimix megamix and cameo's word up and candy (ultimix) to name but a couple

Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Depeche Mode hade some great 12" mixes although my particular favourite was It's Immaterial's -Driving Away from Home.

I also seem to recall a story of some band who released a 12" version that was actually shorter than the 7" version. Ultravox springs to mind but I could be (and probably am) wrong!

the donna summer 30 minute mega-mix was incredible. hot tracks did a terrific version of steamy windows by tina turner, and ultimix did an excellent version of typical male by tina turner.
