I was exactly the same as you mate. I had my coil in for almost 10 years and had it removed in August 06 I had the exact same feelings as you and just as early as you, also my period was late (I had been regular as clockwork before) I did several tests which all came out negative but I refused to believe them, I ended up with my period coming 5 days later than normal! I was so upset it felt like I was grieving for a pregnancy that I never had!. From my own experience I would definitely not build my hopes up so soon, for now just put it down to the fact that your body is settling down after your coil removal, that way if you actually are pregnant it will be an added blessing. And if your not pregnant then if it's any consolation, I fell pregnant on the third month after the coil removal. Just chill sweetheart, it will happen, just have lots of fun trying and also remember that the worry you are putting yourself through could delay your period too. Hope that helps babe. Good luck.

If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

Hopeing you are pregnant can play awful tricks with your mind, some woman have what is called a chemical pregnancy there isnt actually any baby but they want a baby so bad they get all the symptoms in my case i managed to achieve a false positive along with it only because i read it after the stated time frame. When you want to be pregnant all the normal things that you never noticed before seem to become abundent and every week something else is new and you think is this it?Wanting to be pregnant too bad can have serious averts on concieving. So proper advice would be just relax start taking your vitamins if your arnt so if you are pregnant your baby has the best start but mainly dont stress if there is a little person growing inside you it will become apparent soon enough,Patience is so hard when ttc.If it hasent happend this month just enjoy making a baby and remember to relax and not work yourself up too much.iIm sending you all the babydust in the world that if its pregnanct you want you get the wish you desire.i have also included some classic early symptoms you may find helpful but dont read too much into it then you wont be disapointed if your not:
Are you pregnant? The proof is in the pregnancy test. But even before you miss a period, you may suspect — or hope — that you're pregnant. Consider these early symptoms of pregnancy, which may begin in the first few weeks after conception.
Tender, swollen breasts
Your breasts may provide one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. As early as two weeks after conception, hormonal changes may make your breasts tender, tingly or sore. Or your breasts may feel fuller and heavier
Fatigue
Fatigue also ranks high among early symptoms of pregnancy. During early pregnancy, levels of the hormone progesterone soar. In high enough doses, progesterone can put you to sleep. At the same time, lower blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure and increased blood production may team up to sap your energy.
Slight bleeding or cramping
For some women, a small amount of spotting or vaginal bleeding is one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. Known as implantation bleeding, it happens when the fertilized egg attaches to the lining of the uterus — about 10 to 14 days after fertilization. This type of bleeding is usually a bit earlier, spottier and lighter in color than a normal period and doesn't last as long.
Nausea with or without vomiting
Morning sickness, which can strike at any time of the day or night, is one of the classic symptoms of pregnancy. For some women, the queasiness begins as early as two weeks after conception.
Nausea seems to stem at least in part from rapidly rising levels of estrogen, which causes the stomach to empty more slowly. Pregnant women also have a heightened sense of smell, so various odors — such as foods cooking, perfume or cigarette smoke — may cause waves of nausea in early pregnancy

There isnt really a way for us to give you an answer. Yes, the symptoms you describe could be pregnancy related but you are just going to have to try to remain calm and wait. I know how hard this is. Every month My husband and I go through the same dance. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that your symptoms turn into another beautiful baby!!! Good Luck

Victoria,
I can't answer your question and I don't think anyone here can. Only God can and he will answer us soon. I am waiting as well. I find myself finding any sign and symptom I can and tring to hold on to the hope that I am. I wish you the best of luck. From what I have read the body does not produce the pregnancy hormone until implantation day and that is not until 6-12 days after ovulation. So will not know really until we miss are period, and I hope we will!!!!!!!!

Good luck. It's great that you want another baby. One's enough for me.
Anyway anything's possable. After problems with my first pregnancy I'd been told it woud be difficult for me to become pregnant again. So you can imagine my shock after concieving after only 2 weeks of trying.
A friend of mine has also become pregnant while her coil was still fitted so if you've had yours removed it must be possable that you're pregnant.
You should keep trying anyway while you wait for the test, it's fun and will help you take your mind off it.

I understand, I had the implant removed in oct and have been getting the same symptoms, I was doing a test every week because I couldn' wat and seeing the negative results was heart breaking, I am now forcing myself to wait until I have missed a period. I really hope you are, but for your own sanity I* wouldn't risk testing too early. good luck
