If you try to hit a high note with alot of power, it just won't be there,
try hitting the notes at low volume at first, and if you can do that,
Then do it a little louder each time,
you have to build your upper range like a weight lifter,
You can't just start out with full volume and power without working your way up there.

you should (if you can afford it) get a vocal coach. Preferably one that teaches Seth Riggs curriculum. You probably have a bit of nerves if you've been hitting off notes that in itself can make you tense up you neck and throat and everything you need to sing with it even changes your hearing when you tense up. If you can't afford a certified Seth Riggs coach then you should start watching as many great singers as you can, live is the best, you will be able to see what techniques they use and how effortless they make it seem, it was not that simple for most good singers always, alot of them have vocal problems at one point or another, because they don't know how to use it properly. Muscle memory has a lot to do with it, practice practice practice, without music so you can find pitch

i guess that if you keep trying you may do it. experiment on your own at home, try different octaves, try another type of music. Not all voices are made to sing the same things. You may try some operatic sounds and exercises that could help your voice grow but only as long as you have it. I started singing at the age of 14 and almost everyone said i had a bad voice, then i figured that i was singing the wrong things. When i was 19 i was making money singing at a local bar only with a guitar. I was singing male songs cause these suited my voice. so try and experiment. try singing anything you like, and you may find what's good for your voice.

You can't basically. You can either sing and hit all the notes, or you can't. Your vocal chords either allow you to do this or they don't. All the practice and coaching in the world cannot change what Nature did, or didn't give you. I think you need to face the fact that singing is not for you, as Nature did not give you the ability to hit those high notes. Move on.

at home practice your scales ah ah ah ah until u reach the highest u can go then go down then do it again and try harder to go up and up and up then relax your voice for 24 hours and then try it again u need to get the high note before your vocal chords stop growing once it stops growing it will be harder for you to reach higher notes but if you do it before u can sing higher as long as you keep your vocal chords in good shape.

I think that. perhaps, is time to take your coach's advice and take up another artistic endeavor.
