almost equal people will die... there would be some balance... however there are chances of lot of satellite cities coming up around metros...

The cities of today are already filled with people from different parts of the world. Although not everyone will be able to understand everyone, because you can't learn every language in the world, unless you are talking about some kind of star trek translator device.
Nations will still fight with one another, that is a given, no matter what the reason.

There will be more people, if we go by the present trend. But, Nature has its own way of balancing things. May be the trend will be reversed, for some sociological, economical or political reasons. There may be a plague or any other deadly disease which may halve the population. Wars may reduce the population. Natural calamities like Tsunami in a big scale may reduce the population. Due to global warming, the rising oceans may sweep away the human population in low lying coasts and islands. What is the womb of future, we can't predict.

they already are now what are you talking about 50 years from now? when was the last time you were in Los Angeles or New York City? there are and have been for several decades many different cultural sects in large cities I live in a smaller town and there are still several different groups of people from other races and cultures that live here, you need to get out more

I believe that it's just a matter of time before the "whackos" get their own nukes. The whacko Iranians are racing towards obtaining their own nuclear weapons and they've repeatedly stated that they intend to destroy Israel when they get the means to do so. Imagine a suicide bomber with a suitcase nuke! It's coming to a city near you in our lifetime. When these crazies get the means, it's going to change many cities. I doubt people will be interested in living close to large population centers.
The amazing part is these people kill others "in the name of God"!!!!!

Cities in another 50 plus years, will definitely, take on more cosmopolitan (global may be a better word) orientation.
