Diversity..
people use the word diversity to create seperation between societys and bring them toigether, a cultural society can still value their religion or beliefs and by dioing so may seperate themselves but at the same time were all sopsed to be diverse and except one another the way we are and hold no expressive judgment, an open mind to eveyone really.

When it comes to culture and weather other religions and cultures in britan except diversity i do think they could put a little more effort in.. People say it should be valued to let people live at ease and create a more cosomolitan world of ethnicity and a more open community..
weather you as a person choose to be diverse and except everyones individual values is another question...

It used to mean difference of opinion is acceptable in all subjects, but the word has been twisted into a new political meaning.
Which is namely: Only the current governmental thought on a subject will be brooked and deemed the acceptable version and/or opinion.
Anyone found to have a true diversity in their personal opinions, will be scorned, mocked and driven from their employment.

Below is a definition of the word diversity from Wikipedia
"Diversity is the presence of a wide range of variation in the qualities or attributes under discussion"
For me this simple definition of the word diversity is enough to explain why diversity in anything, not just in the sense of humanity, should be valued. Diversity is paramount to progression and in some cases vital. It stands to reason that the bigger the pool of information you have to draw on the better equipped you are for any situation, knowledge is power and i feel one of thee biggest weapons in our arsnal whether politically or just in day to day life. Having diversity allows the subject in question to be be looked at, disscussed and disected in more than just one way which in turn leads to more answers.
I think its healthy and important to have diversity in all aspects of life but thats just my opinon.
Take the small island of Britain, its greatness and prosperity did not come from one set of people, Britain has continued to progress due to the vast number of people who have visited its shores, stayed and brought with them their customs and cultures. The invasion of the Roman army changed Britain forever and not just in bad ways, via ducts, central heating, flushing systems etc. The Vikings, the Picts, the Indians you name it they have all brought benefits to our nation.
The overall notion of diversity is i feel a good one, diversity is the spice of life.

Diversity means anything except white Christian males. It should be valued because it excludes the oppressors of mankind.
