i need shoes!?

Question

so i've got a betsey johnson dress:

i think it's cute, but it's black. i'm going to a formal event so i don't want to go over-the-top outrageous with my heels, but i would prefer something slightly edgy to kick the dress up a notch. i've looked at other betsey johnson heels which are cute, but i'd like advice from others. i've only really been looking at black shoes for this dress, but i'm open to almost anything at this point. there are SOO many directions i can go that i'm unsure. bascially, HELP!

ooh. thanks for the suggestion. when i meant black, however, i did include glitter, or ribbon or lace.

cute dress and yes black shoes would match, but dont u wanna, as u said kick it up a notch? u dont really wanna go monochromatic. a metallic shoe would be great..gold tone maybe even a silver. it could be a simple shoe, but add some color! make sure u dont overload on the accessories. I love to watch all those style shows on the style network or the learning channel (what not to wear) maybe u can find something on that site to help u or even jus search the internet for what would be a good match. i clicked your link and i think they gave u a suggestion on what shoe to wear with it, thats a nice one too.

i like the first shoes the best theyre really cute! if you want shoes that arent black, you could do white and have all youre accessories be white. or red that would look nice too but i like the black and white better. but if you want it to be more simple then go with the black.

nicely i do no longer likely know your style so i'm no longer able to truly advise what shoes to get. A sporty or casual individual could desire to get 2 or 3 pairs of tennis shoes (probably nikes or communicate) a pair of sandals and turn flops (previous army), perchance one or 2 pairs of apartments, snug iciness boots or mocs (uggs) and boat shoes. I really like your dress! i think that any shoes would look nice with it. Have a look at the suggestion they made.
