EVERYBODY respects when the Jews says, we can't have the Nazi symbol to be displayed anywhere. Why can't some face the fact that the confederate flag stands for the same way for Black people. YOUR HERITAGE WAS DISASTER to Black people. Even your own kind now condemns this flag.

It is like saying, "No, I don't mind the Nazi symbol, but I mind the holicaust".

Stupid.

That is a very good point that you have mentioned. Of course you are going to get answers from some people that say they did not mind the confederate flag because there lives or their ancestors lives were not affected by it. Some people just think of themselves and don't care about others. Thank you for caring.

Black is a color not an ethnic group. You use a racist generalization to describe a people while you're berating the confederate flag as being a symbol of racism. You think about that.
Quite a few African Americans have a problem with the confederate flag because they believe it is a symbol of hate and oppression but personally it's a piece of cloth with dye on it that doesn't change my heritage, and doesn't take away from who my ancestors were and what they suffered. There is too much power given to those who wave that flag and that is why they do it. They are demanding a response and they are getting it and that gives them the control and self satisfaction that they need.
By complaining about it it brings attention to it and it takes the African American people back a two hundred years to the mind games that were played. Unfortunately there were slaves who fought in the civil war for the South. Forced or not, that flag is also a representative of them.

The Confederate Flag is a part of U.S. history. those who fought for the Confederate States have a right to be proud of their heritage. to me the Confederate States Flag displays a desire for States Rights over Federal Power. nothing more

This symbol of American history will forever be part of life.People who do not want to give it a place of honor in history bring it up as a racist symbol but it is no more of a symbol than the unity flag.
