My best friend is addicted to it - she even carries her cellphone charger around incase her battery dies!
I see kids everywhere on their phones chatting!

I would be if it worked on my stupid phone! I don't know if it's a problem with MTN or my phone, but my phone supports all other internet sites!

I am, I speak to my whole family on mxit, and all my friends are on mxit. It is the next generation of communication and it costs next to nothing and you can talk all day and all night and it will cost you a few cents, so why not, use what is at your disposal.
As far as what I can remember they said a little while before Xmas that there was 1000 000 users on line

i am on mxit, but definitely not addicted to it. i use it to speak to my bf at night because it is so much cheaper then normal sms's or even a 15 min call. and the best part is that i can ignore people i don't want to speak to.....
it all depends how you use it. it's not such a bad chat if you use it responsibly.
talk to your friend and make her realize that she has an addiction and that she must try to limit her time on mxit.

i use to be like tht. and then i grew out of it. its actually really really depressing to see them glued to their fones. its also a waste coz then u neva have to talk again u can just mxit eachother. my boyfriends brother is hopelessly addicted to it. he cnt go 5 min without going on mxit. but wats even worse is seeing people out of school chatting on mxit. my friends would laugh at me if i was still addicted to it. im glad ive out grown tht stage

Not me...have no idea why it would'nt work on my freakin' phone! My couzin has it and it drives me crazy coz she'll be chatting when I wanna talk with her! Damn!
