Compared to men - yes. As a Asian woman working in a middle class or low paid job you always will have to face discrimination: men will get paid better than women, European and Americans will get a better pay than Asians.
Women will get mostly jobs in the private sector. Means: long working hours, less holidays, less pay, no housing allowance and mostly just a one day weekend.
The existing laws to protect women remain only on paper. Some of them get treated like merchandise. One of the most shocking things about employment is the salary difference between race and gender. Many unskilled ones employed for housework or manual labour are very badly treated and discriminated.
A woman has no right to be the sponsor of her family unless she is a nurse or a teacher with a good salary. And even then it's hard enough to become a sponsor or the family.
It happens quiet often that women from poor countries are promised jobs here and then being forced into prostitution. Also many working women working in prostitution because of the low salary. Never heard that happing to men.

No, the working women in abu Dubai have no poor conditions , here in UAE a women can easily survive in this atmosphere because here is one thing and that is " Peace of Mind" and liberty , women can work here without any problems.
