Alcohol is a diuretic. If you drink a lot frequently you may become dehydrated.
Orange juice has vitamins and fruit sugars that your body has been stripped of by the drinking.

Yep. Hella thirsty! Make sure you dilute your juice or it might turn your stomach. X-mas, My mom and I drank 3 bottles of champagne. We lost both g-parents that year and were feeling pathetic. All I had in the house the next day was grape juice. I blew the nastiest purple. I also find a big restaurant breakfast comforting. No dishes? Who knows. Set a large glass of diluted juice by the bed on your next bender and better luck next time!

yes it is normal!
Alcohol hangovers are next-morning adverse effects that occur after an evening of binge drinking, that is, drinking more than four (women) or five (men) drinks on one occasion. When hangover symptoms start to occur, blood alcohol concentration (BAC) is normally (close to) zero. The hangover state continues up to 24 h after awakening and is characterized by a variety of symptoms, including sleepiness, drowsiness, concentration problems, lightheadedness, dry mouth, and nausea. The severity of these symptoms varies between and within subjects, for example depending on the type of alcoholic beverage, the presence or absence of congeners the amount of alcohol consumed, drinking pattern, and drinking history. The actual cause(s) of hangover are yet unknown, but a relation with the toxic effects of one of ethanol's major metabolic products, that is, acetaldehyde has been suggested, since acetaldehyde produces effects similar to adverse effects observed in the alcohol hangover state. In addition, several other factors have been suggested to contribute to alcohol hangover, including dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, gastrointestinal disturbances, low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia), and sleep and biological rhythm disturbances.

Its pretty obvious that your system is getting really dehydrated. You need to stop drinking for a while and see that you have enough fluids round the clock. Also try some oral rehydration salt drinks which are available over the counter.

Alcohol dehydrates and depletes vitamin C and
many other trace elements from our body. So feeling
thirsty is natural. Orange juce is full of vitamin C.
Our body knows what is needed for efficient functioning.

Booze dehydrates you. It also sucks potassium out of your body. Orange juice is high in potassium, that's probably why you crave it.
