I had this problem...well sort of. My legs got really dry and extremely itchy! I mean, I would scratch till I bled it itched so bad. I was using Dove soap and Dove lotion and my mom told me to try out a different brand. My friend suggested Aveeno. Aveeno works so great! My legs are no longer dry OR itchy. I gave up on soap when I got a facial for my birthday and the lady said it can make your skin dry. So, I would say use body wash that isn't soap (Aveeno makes that) and try out Aveeno lotion too. Hopefully it will help you like it helped me, I don't get itchy and my skin looks and feels much better. I also use a mesh ball thing to put the body wash on, it helps get rid of the dead skin cells.
Other little things you can do would be to not take really hot showers (this was hard for me) but the heat sucks out the moisture from your legs making them dry. Another thing is right when you get out of the shower don't rub your skin dry, instead pat it with your towel...this way the natural oils don't get wiped away. And finally, when you are finished drying off, put on lotion. Your body will absorb the moisture much better after a shower.
I hope I was able to help you!

You absolutely need to moisturise if your skin is dry. Choose a thick moisturiser, a cream, designed for dry skin. For the glow, you can use a brightening moisturiser. Natio and Dove both have one. I love the Natio one, it's got rose and geranium in it. Yum.
Also, when your skin is not so dry and tight and sensitive, you need to exfoliate twice a week. This is what gives your skin a 'glow'. Dead skin cells can make your skin look dull, so when you exfoliate and remove them, you reveal the newer, brighter skin.
Good luck! Don't forget that beautiful skin requires constant attention.

Well dry or dehydrated skin is very irritating but at least the good part is...Dehydrated skin - it is seasonal...
Winter months can often mean centrally heated home containing little moisture.
To solve this problem, invest in a humidifier or even place bowls of water around your home. It doesn't take a lot to put moisture back into your environment, you simply have to remember to do it.

Try taking 1.5 to 2 lts of water every morning empty stomach and keep free from solid foods for next 1/2 hr. Do yoga exercises every day especially the breathing exercises(pranayam). Take care of your diet- it should be healthy and consistent.Positively eat 8-10 almonds daily. This gives lustre to your skin and the morning water therapy refreshes the skin. Following these religiously definitely improves your skin condition.

u should use a hydrating moisturiser, made specially for dry skin, and DO NOT use soap on on your face, not ever.also eat lots of fruits and drink loads of water, juices etc.ask a doctor if you need to take supplements.eat a balanced diet.apply the moituriser on a clean face,at least twice a day.also,if you have got hair with dandruff or oily hair ,keep it off your face,as it makes your skin dry and makes it break out into pimples. efoliate twice a week to remove dead cells, and tone your skin for the 'glow'.Good Luck!!

microdermabrasion would be good. it'll help remove all the dead skin cells. facial cleansers with maybe "microbeads" would also help. drink lots of water and use some good facial creams. u should really read some articles or search the net for some solutions. i cant remember exactly but certain vitamins help bring out that natural glow..like in certain fishes or veggies. so a good diet is key!

your skin could be really dehydrated. try using a really intense moisturiser. And keep yourself hydrated aswell by drinking loads of fluids and maybe go for a job, break a sweat, all your natural oils will start to work then. But if nothing works go to your doctor and see what they say.

If your skin ever was glowing, you have problems. Either you're radioactive, or you've been infested with phosphorescent microorganisms. See a dermatologist or a particle physicist at once.
