Hi

It would have to be a really small and lightweight caravan. The van should be no more than 85% of the weight of the car, as the caravan club states anyway. The best option if you can afford it is to have the biggest car you can afford to run, towing the smallest van you can comfortably stay in when away. Happy motoring!!

No way! you would probably be ok with one of those trailers that unfold into a tent though.
