On my two previous pregnancys with my boys i felt bubbles of some kind with the baby moving. On this pregnancy the baby never seems to move, an when i do feel it its just a sudden movement, It is really different to my other pregnancys. On my scan baby seemed fine, but this pregnancy just dont feel right, At the beginning i had low fluid but on my scan last week they said fluid was normal and baby fine. Do you think im just being paronoid, they told me on my scan im having a boy but im sure its the opposite sex, this pregnancy has something strange about it i just cant explain it i feel so different.

To be honest, I think you are being paranoid! A scan is the most reliable way of both checking if your baby is ok and of seeing the gender. Going for another scan is not going to give any additional information, and you are unlikely to get one on the NHS just because you feel a bit uneasy and don't want to believe you are having another boy.
As long as the baby is moving, that's fine. There could be many reasons for you feeling the movements differently, but all pregnancies are different, even with the same woman.

im 20 weeks tomorrow and im not feeling much yet either.. with my other 3 i was feeling flutters at around 17-18 weeks.. i think it will come soon, every baby is different and so is every pregnancy.as long as the scan and the midwife say everything is fine i dont think you should worry yourself to much...
as with the sex, if your baby is showing on the scan as a boy then it's a boy (we all start off as female in the womb and then start to form our genitals from around 6 weeks onwards, by 20 weeks they should be fully formed, this is why a lot of doctors tell us that it's to early to tell the sex .some have been told they are having girls before this time and then found out it's a boy) ... be happy and enjoy your pregnancy..congratulations ..xxx

You poor thing, i can remember feeling that way and it was horrible.I worried throughout my pregnancy but all turned out fine.
It could be possible that your carrying a girl ( scans are not always right ) a friend of mine painted her nursery pink, bought pink clothes etc and had a boy !!
If the docs are not worried im sure everything is ok.
Try not to worry and just think in about 4mths you'll be holding your beautiful baby. ( boy or girl )
Have you told the docs how you feel ?
Maybe they can reassure you or even insist on a later scan, just to put your mind at ease. I did.

It is well known that if you have 2 babies of the same sex then you are much more likely to have another the same.

And if you are worried that something isnt right then hassle them to keep a closer eye on him and you. YOU ARE THE MOTHER AND THE BABY IS INSIDE YOU SO YOU KNOW BEST!!!!!

Trust me on this one, i know what im talking about. I will not go into it but im speaking from experience. Think of you and baby and dont worry about hassling the midwife/doctors.
Im sure your baby is just fine but do what you need to do and good luck.

if your worried then I think that it would be worthwhile seeing your doctor and midwife for advice. They are there to answer your concerns and do tests if need be. It could just be that your being over anxious because of the low fluid that previously showed up etc but if they had any doubt about the wellbeing of your baby then they would tell you. the website bounty is highly recommended by my wife, you can chat to mums, and mums to be. It maybe useful for you to have some support. good luck

Every pregnancy is different. If you want to try to feel the baby move you should try one of the following:
1.put something cold on your bump
2.Drink a cold glass of water
Don't ask me why but they make the baby move trust me av tried them and they work am currently 20wks pregnant also lying down increases the feeling of the movement.

good luck
