lol @ the responses so far, might as well ad in my own
up here in the country (school is 30 miles away) we can do some crazy stuff. i was once dared to ride a four wheeler barefoot through 6 inches of snow down the road into town and back. OMG... LOL it was fun despite the freezing cold; i had the ATV going 40mph the whole way i was in such a rush, and almost toppled it at one turn, but driving since i was 8 gave me enough experience to stabilize (yes up here our parents issue "unofficial" driving permits at 10. hey, its the country and we can do whatever we want! anywas i was given 2 boxes of .308's and a 10 pound bucket of .22's for my troubles. worth it, this will last me well into the summer. also when i go fishing at one of our lakes (my fam owns 220 acres) we just forget bout the shoes at the door cause it can be a bit muddy getting back to my swwet spot at the rear of the lake. i wouldnt give up this livin for anything, not a care in the world

im 17 now btw, and makin money helpin the local farmers wrangle up their stubborn cattle, with the company of the farm dog Joe always finding somethin to snack on. he keeps the rodent problem in check. we got it pretty good up here: we rent our land to one of the farmers to raise his cattle on, all we have to do is take care of the land and keep the barns from falling down. lol about that pest problem there was a coon in the walls last night. no worries i just pulled out the 22 and popped 'em when he poked his head where it didnt belong and let Joe clean the mess up

Yup, been barefoot in the snow several times over the past years. Dress up warmly from the ankle up and it can be done. I've written an extensive answer on how I do it as a reply to this question:

It's at the very bottom after all the people who said to wear just wear shoes :)

wow, you did a lot of rambling......
But, barefoot in the snow -- sure I do it everyday. But the length of time you can be barefoot in the snow depends on the air temperature and wind chill. When the temp is below freezing you must be careful to avoid frostbite than can happen in just a very few minutes.
I am barefoot in the snow all the time and even I have to know my limits. One full hour barefoot in the snow sounds like a really long time, so I think you are probably exaggerating some. Still, being barefoot in snow can be fun and enjoyable so I definitely encourage you to do it more.

Barefoot is fun, but NOT if it's compacted snow, or icy. You end up on your butt! However soft fluffy snow is fun to go around in for a little bit. On a dare I made a nekkid snow angel last year!

Yep, tried both. Although the barefoot run in the snow was very brief and really not worth it.

Haha...
this reminds me...a couple weeks ago, my friend was at my place...and I was walking barefoot...and the idiot threw me outside in my backyard in the snow...he let me freeze out there for like 5 minutes....when he finally let me back in, I couldn't feel my feet, I thought my toes were going to fall off...my friends are assholes...

I TRIED IT!!!! OMG!!! O-o IT HURTS!!! as in when u come back in the house, and ur feet r all soakin' wet. and all u can do is put a blow drier to them and hope that u don't get frost bite!!! And wat ever u do!!!(this is to the girls only!!!) NEVER wear American Eagle flats in the snow. They got all ruined. first time i wore them too. ( and it was on accident. as in the whole wear them in the bad weather.)
