I have been having these dreams for quite a few years now, but it does not happen all the time. In my dream I just take a small leap then all of a sudden I'm floating and then later on I'm actually flying up in the air like Peter Pan or Superman. And I really don't understand why I keep having these dreams. Can someone tell me what this dream is all about? And does it have anything to do with my future? Thanks...

I did a lof of research on dreams in my graduate program. Flying dreams are the best - they happen when you are happy. I absolutely love flying dreams and wish I had them more often!!!

I have several dream books and they all say the same thing in a nut shell it means freedom from some thing or some one that had been holding you down some how. And now you have left that situation. Perhaps you ended a bad relationship or a bad job. Its a sign of release form pressure on your life. You will find that if you fall into pressure of this sort again you will not be capable of flying in your Dreams

Perhaps it's not a dream....... some people while asleep, their body is relaxed, and their aura is larger than most. So basically your soul would float out of you, and you can travel. I know this to happen to two persons. This sometimes happens to people in the hospital when they go under, for a operation.

It can mean or indicate that your falling or flying to a deeper sleep. Or plot wise, that you need to rise above a possible problem or thought, or your trying to see something going on in your life with a high point of view or perspective.
