In my opinion I would say they SHOULDN'T feel FREE at all since these're extremely rude topics to discuss..!!!

Thumbs or stars there always will be those who would ask racist or rude questions. The best we can is to ignore them and report them to yahoo, for that they are miscreant.
These people have no respect for others so they ask racist and rude questions and they should be banned from Yahoo services.

what is racist today is relevant to what is in the prevaling winds. Suppose you hate purple people - Now you are near death and one of these purple people is a doctor -- where is your hatred. You are free to hate now or as before your ills took over but you still hate resides inside you - is hiding behind a star making you a better person? As to hiding behind yahoo's stars or thumbs - do you know who I am or I you?

No,Not at all,If you ask a racist question it is very unlikely to be shown,And if it is someone is bound to report you.
I got a violation for asking,Why is it OK to have a
Black Miss America Beauty contest,When it is thought to be racist if there was a White Miss America.I asked the question out of curiosity,But got a violation for it..

people who want to ask rude and racist questions do not really care about thumbs up or down they just want to annoy others

People are stupid. At least the people who ask those questions are. When you don't have to look someone in the face and say those things, it's a whole lot easier. They're just cowards with too much time on their hands.

I'm not sure, but I have never recieved a racist comment back to me, I"m pretty sure I'm not racist......
However, I have recieved tons of rude junk back at my inbox due to people not liking what I have to answer about religion, more particularly, Christianity.....
People seem very insecure about me telling them about Christ for some reason,..... Hmmm....batman, Holy smoke... :-)
