If let's say Anne will live in prison for life for no crime, she is completely innocent, nobody wants to help her, she is being held against her will by her family, she can have her three daily meals in that prison and she is allowed to watch some channels on TV, she also has an access for internet but not always, she wants to commit suicide since there is no goal or purpose of being alive, she has no freedom which is priceless, she ain't happy at all, she cries day and night every single day, Anne thinks that there is no reason for living with a broken heart.is it sane if she will commit suicide or not?and why?

Unless you are physically locked in a cage ALL THE TIME there is always a way to escape. There are windows, doors, phones from which to call for help, even a computer on which to contact persons or agencies to help you. Don't be a victim; be an overcomer.

I think it would be helpful if you would not speak in the weird code you've chosen. Why not be open and speak like a normal human being? Do you live with your parents? Are you literally in prison?
Are you being melodramatic? Are you 16 years old with raging hormones?
It's hard to give a real answer to your question. However, I will say, generally, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. My mother-in-law shot herself in the temple 11 years ago and you cannot imagine the pain and anguish this caused to those that loved her. Yeah, you may be ending the "pain" you feel now but I don't think you have any idea what pain, doubt and anguish that you'll be leaving behind.

Some would say anne's quality of life is luxury compared to others. Imagine a homeless person. No warmth, no bed, no meals, let alone tv and internet. I'd say Anne is hard done by, but life could get a lot lot worse.
Suicide is a cheap option, taken mostly by cowards who cannot face life. If you analize what Anne has, its actually not as bad as you first think.
Suicide in this case would be wrong. Not insane, just wrong.

That is a hard place to be and it must get people down. Yes some people are Innocent and go there and then years later they are set free as they were wrongly accused but her family should be doing all they can. Suicide is not the way out, but I'm sure there must be some thing in her life she can look forward to. This is such a difficult question to answer.

I do not believe in taking your own life or that of anothers. This is a terrible situation and I really feel for her. She needs to stay strong and keep fighting for her freedom. But whilst there, try and make the most of the situation - start a book club, start studying, anything to improve yourself because you do not know what the future holds. (even although you say this is a life sentense, this too can change! Nothing is impossible for GOD to change) Most of all, is to keep faith in GOD, keep praying, keep being true to yourself and others and be the best you can be. PS. I know I'm using the term YOU, but know what I mean ...
Dear Lonely Lone, I have read your response - I wish there was something I could do. Never ever give up hoping, even if the situation improves, continue to hope and continue to have faith for bigger and better things, I know it probably seems impossible to do right now, but GOD hears your prayers, you must open yourself up to Him, hand your troubles over to Him. God knows what He is doing and I truly believe that HE has a plan for you. It may not be what YOU want right now, but time will give you understanding. HIS plan for you could well be for you to eventually help others in situations where you yourself are right now and to do this, you need to understand it, the pain, the suffering, the heartache. Crying is a natural part of grief, feelings and emotions. I believe in you, that you will get through this and I believe that God WILL come to your aid. Look inside yourself, look into your heart, you ARE strong and you WILL make it! BELIEVE. BELIEVE, BELIEVE.

First off, I want to say that because people decide to commit suicide they are "insane". Granted, some of them may be. Anyway. Anne...Nice name btw...should think of the people she might be hurting...She might not think there are any, but yes, there are. Sucide is not the only way to deal with pain...For years I wanted to commit suicide, but then...let's say there name is Bob LoL...Bob told me to try writing, or something that made me happy. Worked too. Which is why I'm still here. But neways. LoL

Suicide can be both a sane and reasonable decision in certain circumstances - for example, if you have an incurable disease, no dependents, and are in constant pain why would suicide not be an attractive and logical option ? To me the situation you describe is not one that would drive me to suicide - but that does not mean that I am right. We all have choices to make, and in certain circumstances the choice of suicide could make perfect sense.

Far too complex an issue to give a glib answer even on the data you provide.
It is generally recognised that it is rare for suicide to be committed other than by people who (at the time) are not of fully sound mind.
That is not a cast-iron rule, though.

people live with broken hearts everyday, every hour of the day...its no reason to commit suicide. If she is beyond help by falling into depression and doesnt claw her way out of it by prayer or inner strength...she may lose her will to live i guess and no its not sane...losing a will to live is being very sick emotionally.
