I would like to know from a personal experience on how a woman cope physically and mentally if she has to remove her womb to save her life.

This is called a hysterectomy. It's actually fairly common among middle aged women. You can DEFINITELY live, but you won't menstruate or have babies (of course) and will probably need to take hormone pills. It's basically like going through an early menopause. Sometimes it's done because of severe endometriosis or cancer of the cervix or ovaries. I have a friend who went through this procedure at the age of 19, and she continues to live a normal, more healthy life. She was a bit depressed for a few months, but then she looked on the bright side: no more pain, no more periods, no more pms, no more chance of unexpected pregnancy. She plans on adoption later in life, in case you're wondering. If you are needing to go through this operation, my best wishes are with you.

Yes, woman can live quite nornally after a hysterectomy, millions do.

As for how she copes with it, this is a very broad question. If the woman is young and hasn't had children it can be traumatic, on the other hand if she is older and has had her family and is experiencing gynaecological health issues that are making her life miserable then it can come as a huge relief.

Or a woman may have to have an emergency hysterectomy after giving birth if there is controlled bleeding and her life is at risk.

Removal of the uterus can also be associated with other things such as cancer, which creates a whole other dimension around the issue, since beating the cancer and fighting to live might take centre stage for awhile and losing the uterus is secondary.

It's difficult to answer this question without more information. But if a woman is in a situation where her life is in danger for any reason, counselling will help.

Generally if a woman has the womb removed it is because of serious medical problems. A woman can live a completely normal life with out one. Mentally it would depend on the womans age, number of children she has(if none it would be a very hard thing to deal with) married or unmarried and if the womb was removed because of cancer then all the turmoil that goes along with that is there.

If the uterus is removed, yes, the woman can live normally. She can still have sex. And as long as the ovaries are still there then the hormones won't change too much. It may be a little hard at first when she comes to realise that she no longer has the ability to have children, but eventually that will pass.

Physically there on no side effects. If a woman has children already then it is easier to cope mentally as she knows that her children need her and her life was spared so that she can raise her children. If she has no children then it is definitlely not easy to cope with mentally. However in order to cope she should keep herself as busy as possible. She can do volunteer work with disabled children, get a job, anything that will make her feel accomplished, and fullfilled. This way she will not dwell on her misfortune.

Depends on the woman and the reason for which the womb is removed.

As long as the ovaries are intact and function normally the answer is yes. However the reason for the removal could be wide spread such as cancer or endometriosis effecting other organs and tissues.

A hysterectomy does not necessarily destroy life or a woman's ability to live fully and normally. Of course, it depends on the individual situation.
