Just go to one of these sites and it will display the IP address of the computer from which you're surfing.

To find out your local computers IP address can be done by going into Command Prompt and typing ipconfig at the prompt.

go to start - control panel - network connection - there will be to options "dial up" and "LAN or High speed-internet"- click on wich ever one you have - and then a new window will appear and at the top of that window thare will be two tabs, click on the one that seys "support" and all the info you need will be right there ( address type, IP address, subnet mask, ext. )

If you are using a windows XP computer, open a dos shell and type:
ipconfig

dos shell from the Start-program-accessories-command prompt


If you are using linux or a unix variant type:

dig

Ipconfig gives you your LAN address. If you want your internet address, use the link in the source box.

if you have aol its alot easier..
you just go into a msg. box and press the right mouse thing and then when the thinngy pops up press insert and then ip address..
