to get across the street in a traffic area you press the signal button and wait for the light to turn green.
you DO realize that pressing it over and over repeatedly aint gonna make the light turn green any faster, right? well then quit doing it morons
this is what they do:
walk up to a stop, and pressed the green light button. wait 5 seconds..... reach out and press the button some more. wait another couple seconds...and tap the button a few more times. you morons

in my town those buttons don't work at all. not saying they're slow but they just don't work. so i wouldn't know.
