I think women find her funnier than men.

Funny. I love her commercial about her doing a show about animals working in the office. The staff consists of animals and she mentions people who are pigs in the office and Ellen's pig, Frances, gets all upset. Ellen comes up with great ideas.

I was stuck in hospital for over a month and got stuck whatching it....she is not only not funny but sexist!!
I saw to episodes with male strippers and one with the male actor from madmen and she brought out a life like doll of him and started to undress it!!!.
even telling her male guest to take off there shirts...she is very sexually gratuitous with her male guest and since she is a lesbian she must be doing it to humiliate and demean them.
but the problem is if it was a male host doing this to women his show would be canceled and he would making his rounds in the media apologizing.
daytime shows have the collective brain power of an one celled amoeba."ellen" is at worst adolescent at best but inject girl power moments and entertainment fluff and you'll have a winner every time .

i'm a guy and i think she's mildly funny and kinda annoying
i can watch her show without a great amount of disgust, unlike many people. overall she's maybe less annoying than oprah or kirstie alley.

She's kind of strange - she annoys me, so I don't really want to find her funny. However, she IS very funny.

i think ellen is hillarious!
i especially love it when she dances, thats just too great. i am female, btw. so yeah, maybe women understand her humor more than men :)
