It is simply a method of reproduction. It can be used to create organs and tissue for research and transplant or indeed to create a baby something (animal, plant etc) This baby is no different than any other baby even a baby that was from a fertilization etc. There would be no half-human half-goats or anything. There may be modifications of genetic code but that would be many many years after cloning. Like all knowledge, the knowledge of how to clone is neutral and pure, I'm sure that someone will think of a way to use it for something horrible the way someone has used every discovery made by humans for something horrible but that means little.

Clone vegetables, perhaps even livestock..so long as tests would prove there would be no harmful long term effects to animals and or consumption of animals.

that could be invaluable for third world country development.

But cloning a person,thats a can of worms that should never be pursued. Imagine the adulthood effects that could possibly have on someone.

That a gamble I wouldnt want to take, physically or mentally for someone else.

a lot of things can be achieved by cloning...best thing is there would'nt be a lack of body parts for medical reason, bad because of super armies.................... i leave your imagaination to finish that
